This decision to breed I made after learning the breed standards, studying caracteristics of the race, behavior and training, changing experiences with many dog lovers and at most conclusion that I have ideal situation to be a responsible breeder. As long as I've been considering from whom to buy Hestia for more then a year I was selecting the proper stud dog, based on : health, physical qualities, temperament and pedigrees in order to follow standards and to contribute to the improvment of the breed.

 

Contribution to improve standards is breeder obligation to do radiological examination hip/elbow dysplasia(HD/ED) and thyroid screening for hypothyroidism according to F.C.I./IEWG protocol. Eyes, heart and blood exams are necessary too. It helps breeder to make important decisions about prospective breeding litter excluding incidence of genetic problems.

 

I have done that all and with all those documents  plus registration of Kennel approved by KSS and FCI the owner of Rhodesian Ridgeback Akani's Clan, Mr Andreas Schonestein accepted me for breeding.

 

The mating took place on 15/06/2014 in Wipperfürth, Deutchland

We happily announced that Hestia gave birth to the dozen of healthy puppies on the 18th of August, 2014.
