My name is Olga Pavlovic. I decided to have a dog and my son-in-law  introduced me  to Rhodesian Ridgeback's breed, unknown to me at that time. After my observation of RR , I became addicted to them.

 

That wish to become the owner of RR kept me surching for the right one all year long. I was following with passion and care news among breeders and finally made decision to contact Kennel Helya Ridge in CZ where I found Grande Hestia.

She became so important to me and she changed my life a lot, as I took the task of bringing her up, seriously.

 

When she was 9 month I attended basic obedience class at the Dog Training KDVSP "Policeman", Bezanijska kosa Belgrade where in a groupe of 20 dogs her trainability has been shown in a short time as a very good one. She easily and motivated, did training sessions, without any faults. But, when the session became repetitive, she started ignoring them. She did what has to be done and it  was enough for her.

 

She is very smart, very loyal, very protective, love to make me happy. She often ask for showing back my admiration and she enjoys in that very much. As she is socialized she adores babies, small children and like very much small dogs, who are almost schooked at first sight as she looks tough. I could proudly say that she is well brought up.

 

Rhodesian Ridgebacks as an individual thinkers might be stuborn at times. Right now, as pregnant, Hestia is showing her stuborness from time to time. Does not want to get into the car, prefer staying at home, reasonably. She was following me, all the time, now, on the contrary, Hestia asked me to follow her mood. Her inteligency suprised me all over again.

 

Her first show, as 9 month old, was on  XLIX INTERNATIONAL DOG SHOW taken in Belgrade 06/Nov/2011 where she got excellent mark and was the winner of youngsters. At the next show in Belgrade, XLXI INTERNATIONAL DOG SHOW  on 09/March/2014 she got CAC and CACIB.

 

On the 15/June/2014 Hestia mate with Akani from Akani's Clan Rhodesian Ridgback Kennel. It was wonderful meeting with dog and owners, dear and devoted people to their dogs and breeding. Such a long trip (more then 1.500km) was paid off as I've got new friends who were unselfishly willing to share with me all the experience regarding breeding. Refer to them with lot of practical advices I am enriched in knowledge how to successfully and securely breed Hestia's litter and how to raises the puppies as it is of a great importance how puppies turns out.
